| I just wanted to thank “Shaded Soul Band” for your amazing performance at our Wedding at The Owenego on May 31st, 2008. You have certainly gained a larger fan base! Our friends and family continue to talk about how much fun they had dancing and watching all of you perform. We definitely enjoyed ourselves as well. The band created an atmosphere and sound that made our Wedding a fun, lively celebration. You are all gifted, spirited performers who give it your all. We truly appreciate your professionalism, energy and many varied talents. You are a heck of a “manager” as well. Booking with you was a pleasant and easy experience. You came ultra prepared for providing the ceremony music and diplaying the slideshow presentation. Your organization and eye for every detail is amazing! Although we can’t make it to Block Island this year to see another great performance, we look forward to seeing you on the Guliford Green this Sunday. We will continue to spread the good word about Shaded Soul. Best wishes and thanks again, Kristen Russo May 31, 2008 |
| On behalf of the University of Connecticut Health Center, I would like to thank Shaded Soul for their recent donation of $1,230.00 from the proceeds of the benefit dance held on April 22, 1994. Per your request, the proceeds have been deposited into our Pediatric AIDS Patient Care Fund within the University of Connecticut Health Center. Ms. Lorraine Wells informed me that your dance was a tremendous success and all who attended had a wonderful time!! Bravo to you and your band members for a job well done. We know how time consuming a community fund raiser is to plan. There are so many details and last minute errands. We thank you for all your time and effort. Please know that this donation will enable Dr. James Robinson, Professor of Pediatric and Director of the Pediatric HIV Program to continue his research efforts to hopefully someday combat this dreaded disease. Again, on behalf of Dr. Robinson, the staff of our Pediatric HIV Program and most especially the patients they care for-our heartfelt thanks. Sincerely, Elizabeth B.
